ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Shawn Nageli is the Owner and Principal Engineer of DoRay Audio. With nearly 25 years of experience in professional and consumer audio, Shawn has designed and shipped hundreds of products spanning install sound, studio, live sound, cinema, consumer, and home theater applications under some of the industry's most iconic brands.
Before founding DoRay Audio, Shawn served as Principal Engineer, Audio at Snap One/ADI, and previously held the same role at Harman International, where he focused on R&D, mixed signal electronic design, DSP, acoustics, micro acoustics, amplification, networked audio, immersive audio technologies (Dolby/DTS), and technology adoption. In these roles he provided technical leadership for internal engineering teams.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah and is a member of the Audio Engineering Society (AES), SMPTE, and CEDIA.
At DoRay Audio, Shawn brings that depth of engineering experience directly to every product, combining hands-on technical rigor with a founder's attention to detail.
